Historic Location

The facility is located on historic Davis Islands and less than one-half mile from Tampa General Hospital . In addition, the Davis Islands village and shopping district is conveniently located just blocks down the street. Recreational facilities in the immediate neighborhood include a newly renovated city park and marina, tennis courts, a swimming pool and little league fields. Other highlights of the island include the Davis Islands Yacht Club, Davis Islands Garden Club, Peter O'Knight Airport and many other historic properties built in the 1920's. All of these features combine to make Davis Islands one of the most desirable areas to live in the entire Tampa market.

Originally built in 1925 as the Palmerin Hotel, Hudson Manor is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was once home of the Casablanca Cafe, a bistro honoring Humphrey Bogart who stayed here after filming Key Largo.
