What is Assisted Living?

Assisted Living combines housing and supportive health care services for those who cannot or prefer not to live alone and do not need the 24-hour skilled medical care of a nursing home. It is specifically designed to provide assistance to those who still want their independence but need help with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, and medication supervision.

Assisted Living facilities are often deemed necessary when the person in question is sometimes confused, or is experiencing memory problems. Assisted living bridges the gap between the independence of retirement living and the total reliance upon long-term nursing care and promotes maximum privacy, security, respect, and, most of all independence.

1. A residency application (click here to download) must be filled out and submitted. A non-refundable community fee is required with the application to hold a room.
2. An assessment will be scheduled to meet the prospective resident and determine if they are appropriate for our facility. After completion, an 1823 (a state required health assessment form for residents to be signed by a doctor) must be completed before move-in.
3. After approval of all requirements, a move-in date can be set. Our staff can assist with all aspects of the move-in process.
